Skilled Community Works Operatives will be present on both days, carrying out day to day tasks and enlisting Country Show attendees to try their hand. Giving an insight to the works undertaken by the Community Works Team in Lambeth.

Hands on intercatiave stand showcasing…

PLUMBING: an opportunity to see how we undertake plumbing installation repairs and maintenance works across various properties within Lambeth.

CARPENTRY: How our work covers the design and fitting of windows, doors, skirtings, staircases, flooring including carrying out minor repairs etc

PAINTING / DECORATING: Learn about our work processes from preparing the materials to completion including how the inhouse service manage incoming works order.

PLASTERING & BRICKWORK: This includes work around skimming over existing structures to sand/cement rendering, plasterboard repairs, coving, screeding, and jointing to repointing.

HOME ADOPTATION (internal & external ):  How to make an online referral to Lambeth Council and the criteria required.

MOULD ERADICATION: How we successfully deal with small to medium contamination of mould growth within the community.

Serco provide a diverse range of sustainable waste management services to residents in Lambeth. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have. They will also be showcasing their fully upcycled and 100% electric waste disposal truck, which is one of the many actions being taken to reduce their and Lambeth’s carbon footprint.
