Join us for a performance from our talented jazz musicians as they take you through a series of vocal and instrumental musical journey.

Sing Out Streatham is a fun and friendly community choir based in Streatham and led by Xenia Davis. They meet on Thursday evenings from 7.30-9pm at: St Leonard’s Church Hall, 8 Tooting Bec Gardens, SW16 1RB.

They sing beautiful acappella songs from around the world, folk, gospel and pop in 3 and 4 part harmony. All songs are taught by ear. Sing Out Streatham started in January 2013 and they’ve grown to around 50 members.

The Drum Africa Community Band began in February 2020. After nearly 10 years of running African drumming class teaching students traditional authentic West African drumming rhythms, they decided to create a Community Band: running ‘rehearsals’ instead of the usual drumming ‘classes’.

Soul Choirs are a fun, friendly network of adult choirs across London and the South East – no auditions needed!

Mr Wonderful (aka Malcolm Fernandes) has been keeping London fit, healthy and dancing for over 30 Years by organising, promoting and presenting afternoon Tea Dances, hosting Evening Social dances and Special Events. He first started hosting Social Ballroom & Latin dances at the then Mecca run Cafe de Paris in London’s Leicester Square. He has gone on to host dances in all the major Dance Halls in London, Bournemouth, Blackpool, Margate, Folkestone, Harrogate, Coventry and Manchester.

Grounded Movement and special guest Grounded UK Juniors present an eclectic mix of African derived social, fun and virtuoso dances to participate in.

Join hosts and London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony choreographers Temujin Gill and Sunanda (Bgirl Sunsun) Biswas for a taste of social and party dances with a special performance by Grounded UK Juniors, a local group of young dancers who attend regular Hip Hop classes in West Norwood with Bgirl Sunsun.

This event is guaranteed to get everyone dancing and moving with a groove.

Segatastic Dancers are a professional UK dance troupe – specialising in Sega, the official National Dance of Mauritius. Performing in bright and beautiful national costumes, to the beat of the spirit of Africa, resonating through the musical instruments while the songs, sung in Creole, depict Musical Expression of the Mauritian Way of Life: Joy and Liveliness!

Born and raised in Vauxhall with Spanish roots, Maria brings the ultimate feel-good energy to every Zumba session. Her classes are all about inclusivity, joy, and community – whether you’re a seasoned dancer or someone who swears they’ve got two left feet. 

Zumba helped Maria lose 15kg and sparked a journey that transformed her mental and physical wellbeing. Now, she shares that magic with others – because Zumba isn’t just a workout, it’s movement therapy. It lifts your mood, builds confidence, and improves coordination without even realising you’re working out. It’s a dance party with purpose!

They use funding from organisations including The National Lottery Community Fund and The London Community Foundation along with profits from our commercial activities to provide free African drumming workshops and free Moroccan food workshops in Communities throughout London, particularly the South East.

Take part in a mass waggle dance! Everyone has to learn a short routine to the waggle dance original track and like a flashmob we can bring the whole festival together in group movement. it will only take 10 minutes to learn choreography and then play the track twice through. Fun and joyful for absolutely everybody. Get involved with all the family.
